CM Yogi to take on NSA against strict, responsible engineer and contractor in Ghaziabad accident
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a tough stand on the cremation ground accident in Muradnagar of Ghaziabad.
The Chief Minister has ordered imposition of National Security Act (NSA) against the responsible engineer and contractor in this case. With this, an explanation has been sought from the Commissioner and the Collector.
Chief Minister Yogi on Tuesday announced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh each to the families of those who lost their lives in the accident.
Has ordered The CM has said that there is no place in governance for the officers responsible for such incidents.
Significantly, on January 3, 24 people were killed and several people were injured by falling roof of the crematorium. The police arrested three people in this case.
These include EO Niharika Singh, JE CP New Delhi , Supervisor Ashish. Contractor Ajay Tyagi has been arrested by the police last night. Ghaziabad police had announced a reward of 25 thousand rupees on accused Ajay Tyagi.
